Mangonels

In room 5 we have been making mangonels that fire marshmallows. I was in a group with Emily and Jemma. I helped Emily make hers but Jemma said she did not  need any help for her one!
When we fired them our one went two meters. I was proud of myself.

the wedding

A few days ago I went to Dunedin. No one else went to Dunedin, just me and my family!!!!!!I was very lucky.
When I was in Dunedin I went to my Aunty Margaret's wedding and I was the flower girl at the wedding and my brother was the ring bearer at the wedding. I had such pretty flowers that I was holding and Harry was holding such pretty rings. Later at the wedding I went on to the dance floor and danced. After dancing I played with my fourteen year old cosine Georgia. We watched a DVD and I watched a movie called Nim's Island and I had four bags of small bagss of chips and two minny juice boxes and they were  so so so yummy in my tummy.
We stayed for one week we stayed at one huge house for five days and and the other two nights at a tiny house.

Dear Board of Trustees .

In my opinions I do not think that (BYOD) is suitable for Nelson Central School. BYOD means bring your own device such as IPADs, IPHONEs and IPOD touches .

I do not think it is a good idea because they cost a lot of money and for two people it would cost about $1,600 and that is a lot for a family to spend.

My Second reason is if they get stolen.It would be  a real shame. Parents would be wondering how they would be safe.  Finally they could get  damaged. If they get damaged it would make the person really sad.

I do not think BYOD should be at Nelson Central School.

I wonder what it would be like with BYOD at Nelson Central School?

I wonder what other schools have BYOD? If you  had a choice what would you choose?

Natureland trip

I went to naturland for a shool trip to clasifiy annimals.We saw the toutaru in a stuf room.We allso  went in to a nuther stuf room! later we had lunch in the play grand.After we had eatin are lunch I went on a mery go round and Igot so disy!!! I cept playing in the play grand until we went.We wer all in grops with an adolt hou came.My mum or dad didint come but I budyd up with some one.We all had a relly good time!!!!!by the way my name is Sylvie.
